BROWN BELT

Blocking Routine

Back stance twin forearm block, pull left fist to ear and inner forearm block while pulling right fist to chest

Back stance inner forearm block, switch to front stance and inner forearm block with opposite hand

Lead hand jab, reverse punch, jump spin back fist

Twin inverted knife hand strike to neck, twin low knife hand block in front stance, step forward into back stance and knife hand strike

Kicking Routine

Front leg front kick, jump spin tornado round kick, back leg side kick landing forward

Back leg low, middle, and high side kicks, set down in front

Jump spin hook kick

Grab Defenses

Choke from behind: Raise left arm, spin pivot into a back stance and harness both arms with left arm, grab shoulder with free hand, bring opponent to ground, right hand punch face

Ridge hand: Push block with left hand, move forward into back stance, reach through opponent's armpit, grab shoulder and flip

Opponent reaches forward with both hands: Grab arms, fall backwards and leg throw with both legs

Opponent grabs lapel: knife-hand block arm, knife-hand strike neck and sweep opponent

From ground on hands and knees: cup opponents heel and roll into their knees and take opponent down

From ground on back: take foot place it under opponents knee applying pressure and take the other foot and sweep them to ground

Straight across wrist grab: grab opponents wrist and block inside forearm, step back and drop opponent to floor

Diagonal wrist grab: coil around wrist, spin body and flip opponent

Kicking Defenses

Axe kick: X-block, twist leg and drive opponent to ground

Outside-in crescent kick: Move in, grab behind opponent's neck and elbow face

Hook kick: Fall to ground, scissors take down

One Steps

Double side kick, spin double side kick (both sides)

Hand open by ear, step back push block (back stance), jump spin heel kick (both sides)

Hand open by ear, step back push block (back stance), spin side kick low, same leg round kick high (both sides)

Outside-in crescent kick, spin heel kick, round kick (both sides)

Drop down on left knee, hands on floor, right leg round kick to body, same leg behind forward leg, jump up, spin left leg to mid-section, takedown, right ridge hand

Breaking Technique

Jump spin hook kick

Palm heel strike one brick
